  • Trail Rides
    Enjoy an escorted trail ride along the beautiful wooded bridle trails of Oglebay. Gentle, quiet horses for riders of all skill levels. Ages 10 and up.
  • Lessons
    Private and group lessons for beginners through intermediate. Basic English riding with emphasis on dressage.
  • Camps
    Learn the basics of English and Western riding, horse safety and horse care.

    Summer Camps
    Level 1: June 14 - 18 & July 12 - 16
    Appropriate for campers with little to no horse experience. All Level 1 camps include basic English and Western riding. Ground lessons cover safety, horse body language and basic care.

    Level 2: June 21 - 25 & July 19 - 23
    Students will choose to ride either English or Western. Students must be able to walk, stop and steer no assistance and trot with minimal assistance. Ground lessons cover safety, tacking up, colors & breeds.

    Level 3: June 28 - July 2 & July 26 - 30
    Open to students who have completed level 2 prerequisites and are able to
    trot independently. Ground lessons cover safety, special equipment & first aid.

    Level 4: July 5 - 9 & August 2 - 6
    Open to students who have completed all other levels and are starting to canter. Ground lessons cover safety, different disciplines & gaits.

    Ages 4-6: June 7 - 11, July 5 - 9 & August 2 - 6

    Cost for all camps: $169.60
    Levels 1-4 run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with before and after care available.
    The camp for ages 4-6 is from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
    Lunches will be provided for an extra charge or campers may bring a lunch.

  • Pony Rides
    A fun ride on a gentle, friendly pony. For children ages 2 and up only, 120 lbs. maximum weight.
  • Therapeutic Riding
    Photo of visitors on a trail rideTherapeutic riding uses interaction with the horse to benefit individuals with disabilities. Although the ultimate goal is for participants to ride as independently as possible, the physical, cognitive, emotional and social benefits are countless.
