A leisurly stroll or a calorie-burning workout... See the spectacular views as you wind your way through the rolling hills of Oglebay.
Pedal Boating
Two seat pedal boats are available for rides, no private boating is available.
Fishing
The lake is stocked with bass, trout and catfish. Season fishing passes are available. Fishing poles can be rented and bait can be purchased at the boathouse. All fish that are caught must be purchased at the boathouse (price is determined by size of the fish) or released back into the lake. Click here for catch and release policies.
Playground
Renovated in 1996, the playground offers great equipment plus a protective safety surface that provides two layers of cushioning.
Miniature Golf
Located next to the playground adjacent to Schenk Lake, this 19 hole course is fun for the entire family. Clubs and balls are provided as part of cost.
Cascading Waters
On summer evenings, three-acre Schenk Lake is transformed into a water show of choreographed lights, music and 150' high plumes of water. Call 304-243-4026 for show times.
Activity Bands
Planning on spemding the entire day at Oglebay doing various activities? Activity bands are available Memorial Day through Labor Day, and include all-day access to many of the park's activities, including miniature golf, fishing and pedal boating. Click here for more information. |
