Trolley Tours
The nightly trolley tour is a great way for visitors to see all of the Festival of Light's displays. Your knowledgeable tour guide narrates, provides festival history and gives you insider information about what goes on behind-the-scenes.
Times: This nightly tour departs from Wilson Lodge hourly at 5:30, 6:30, 7:30, 8:30 & 9:30 pm.
Price: $9 (plus tax) per person

Roger Hoard and John Allemond:
This duo brings many years of diverse musical experiences and styles to Oglebay. From country to bluegrass, jazz to classical, traditional Christmas classics will take a new turn with Roger on guitars and vocal and John on upright bass and vocal.

Nick Costa & Bill Pirie "Now That's Entertainment":
Featuring the song styling and powerful vocals of Cleveland's own Nick Costa & the comedic anecdotes of Bill Pirie! Hear the classics of Frank Sinatra, Englebert Humperdink, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash & more.

Stan Miller: Jazz Saxophonist/Vocalist
Stan Miller has developed his own brand of "cool jazz," which his fans have grown to love. He features many songs by the greats, such as Sinatra, Nat ‘King’ Cole, Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald, Mel Torme and even Michael Buble.

One-A-Chord:
This “A Cappella” Quartet is an experienced vocal blend of musical talent from Barnesville, Ohio specializing in doo wop songs and classic oldies. Their spontaneous humor and audience interaction makes each performance delightfully unique.

Subway Variety & Show Band:
Subway is the longest lasting Oldies and Beach show band in the United States, still pleasing people from eight to eighty with a high energy performance. Five lead singers make beautiful harmony with a female vocalist that steals your heart.

Gardens of Light
The hilltop and gardens area at Oglebay is now a four-season spectacle with 150 hanging baskets of lights, thousands of lighted flowers and trees, and distinctive holiday music.

Community Carol Sing

Paint Your Own Pottery
Choose from several different pottery shapes to paint or glaze. Pieces must be left overnight and can be picked up the following morning.

WINTER FANTASY AT THE GOOD ZOO
 
The Good Zoo’s Light and Music Extravaganza
35,500 LED lights choreographed to exciting holiday music
Annual holiday model train display at the state’s largest O-Gauge Model Train Exhibit
Winter Fantasies holiday laser light show at the zoo’s Benedum Theater. 18-minute programs are hourly from 12 - 7:30 pm Sundays through Thursdays, except Thanksgiving Day, and 12 to 9 pm, Fridays and Saturdays. Presented every hour on the hour, included with zoo admission. (Weekdays 7:30 pm show also)

Santa’s Workshop
The Zoo’s classroom has become a workshop, because even Santa could use a hand when making crafts and ornaments for the house this holiday season. There will be so many choices! You can put together holiday kits with reindeer, snowmen, the elves and Santa. You’ll be able to decorate a tote, make a foam gingerbread house, or even construct a Santa thermometer. Item selection may vary. Anyone can visit our shop! No registration required for Santa’s workshop.

Price: There will be a nominal fee for each craft

Black Friday - Kids’ Fun Day Parents!
Go grab those Black Friday specials while your children visit the zoo for a fun day of animals, games, movies (with popcorn of course!) and more! Bring your children to the zoo anytime after 7 am and pick them up by 5:30 pm. We will fill their day with fun activities, learning adventures and also provide a pizza lunch and snacks. Preregistration required.

Extreme Animal Designs
What animal freezes solid in the winter time? Who has a built-in scarf to keep them warm? Who changes colors when the snow starts to fall? Through fun activities and up close encounters with our education animals, participants will discover fascinating and amazing facts about how animals are built to survive extremes in climate and changes in seasons.
Ages: Ages 7 - 11 years
