Estate Houses

Oglebay has 4 estate houses which feature large floor plans and the finest accommodations the resort has to offer. With their semi-secluded locations and large living ares, they are ideal for large family get togethers or executive retreats.

Waddington House
Waddington House, the former retreat of Earl W. Oglebay's grandson, Courtney Burton, Jr. is one of the resort's finest overnight accommodations. Accommodating up to 18 persons, this house features 5 bedrooms all with private baths, and their own interior/ exterior entrances.

Palmer and Wheeler Houses
These 4,600 sq. ft. estate houses, located in a private areas overlooking the Speidel Golf Club, each offer the finest in overnight accommodations. Features of each include a spacious great room, encompassing the kitchen, dining and living rooms in an open floor plan, and 6 bedrooms and 6 ½ baths. Historical pictures of Oglebay can be found throughout the house.

Maple Chalet
Completely remodeled in 2007, Maple Chalet is a 2-story structure located adjacent to Wilson Lodge. It boasts 7 bedrooms, each with private baths, and flat screen TVs throughout.
